Feature update: Introducing new plays and formations in quizzes
Published: January 27, 2026
Play Designer Pro is not just about assessing how well your team knows the playbook already, it's about helping your players to learn your playbook.
However, until now, players were immediately presented with questions about plays or formations they may not yet have learned, giving them little chance of getting things correct.
Now when a player takes a quiz, they will be introduced to plays and formations that they have not yet seen, before being asked questions about them.

Once they confirm that they have seen the new play or formation, they will get a few questions about it to help them to learn the new concept.
After that, questions about that play or formation will be mixed in amongst questions about the rest of your playbook content that they have seen before.

Soon, I will be working on giving coaches the ability to have more control over their team's learning experience.
This includes things like being able to choose which type of questions their players can see (e.g. Multiple Choice, Text Entry, etc..) and the ability to create prioritize which plays or formations they would like their players to learn first.
